Needs Help

“The President of the United States really needs help from the vice president. After all, the President is a very busy person. He or she needs to meet many important people across the country and from all over the world. Hundreds of millions of people rely on the president. When the president is not feeling well, or too busy to go somewhere, the vice president can take over the president’s job.”

To everyone’s relief, the period bell rang. Pepper looked around the classroom. Many of her friends still stared blankly at the whiteboard. On her way to the school gate, Pepper started thinking about pizza. She waited at the usual spot where her mom always picked her up. Her stomach was growling and she yawned a few times.
